Another Prototype! Muglys!

These enigmatic looking creatures are prototypes for a range of mug holders I'm working on. The product acts as a coaster while grpping the underside of the mug so where ever your mug is, your coaster is there too! It also catches drips when carrying your mug from kitchen to living room.

These are a proof of concept with many more test pieces and computer models to come. I'm looking to build a website in the next few months to launch the product on a 'testing the water' basis. If I get enough interest I'll look at scaling up production :)

Any and all feedback is appreciated!

Prototype Completed - Coffee Table

Here's a prototype for a coffee table I'm designing. It's made from strips of waste MDF, Chipboard and any other wood offcuts we have hanging around at work. The table is folding, addressing the trend towards small apartments and city living.

MDF and Chipboard are man made and currently non-recyclable so all waste goes to landfill, resulting in an increase in Methane production, a powerful green house gas.

New Arrival - Concept for a collapsable recycled storage unit

hello world

Here's my first blog post! It's getting late on a Sunday night so thought I'd post a few cool design links I've found while browsing the web:

Not really design more Illustration but I love the style of both of these querky Illustraters. Recently bought a some prints off David Lanham, can't wait to get them on my wall!
